Great place to stop for a brew and a biscuit when out on a bike or walking in the winter months. Very friendly guy running the counter and I would recommend this venue for a good hot chocolate.
I've been buying ice cream from this place for over 40yrs, it's now selling English Lakes ice cream , which in my opinion is just as good as Bonds own.
Thought we would try this restaurant for Sunday lunch.We were not disappointed, we had the sharing platter it was huge.probably enough for a family not just two people.Everything was tasty and hot,the service was friendly and efficient. We have been coming here for years but this was the first time under new management, the refurb is to a high standard with a homely feel.We will visit again.
