Awful school. So pleased my children have left. I would not recommend you send your children here. The teachers are awful, the school has been ruined by an incompetent headmaster. I sent my children here because it was as good school then they employed Mr Waller. There is no point in complaining to the Governors as they support him no matter what even if he is putting a child's health at risk.

I have been there and nearly got to year 8 when I left. People are constantly vaping and smoking in and out of school and use desordarant to get rid of the cigarette smell. People kick around bottle and cans of highly explosive liquids in changing rooms for P.E. Everyone is extremely rude and I had a bully problem. Teachers often abuse their power and the school even gives themselves a 5 star rating. Only good teacher is Mr. Penney, head of year 7, he was my geography and P.E. teacher and was nice. He also helped me get rid of the bully problem. Nearly everyone vapes or smokes, belongings get stolen very very easily and students mess about often like burning belongings in science lab. Mrs Gould was my Religious Studies teacher and she was the best until she started doing maths and I wasn't in her class. You have to pay to sit in the canteen otherwise you have to sit outside or in the hall, but the hall was closed down for the tests. The school keeps saying no gum but there is gum everywhere and trash too. Mr. Rehman was my maths teacher but whenever you look at him he assumes you need help and he doesn't make you want to learn. The only thing I liked about the school were the teachers Mr. Penney and Mrs Gould. Even though because everyone was smoking and stealing alcohol, cigarettes and candy from shops I never did any of that. A nearby shob called Morrisons had a big stealing problem so they only allowed 2 students at a time and make sure they had their money. Now students can't even enter without their parents. A friend named Liam literally stole every single day. Even my friend that was a year older than me warned me about the school. People said it was good back in the day. Wouldn't say to go as far as calling it a prison but I know why people get that view. Drugs, beaten up, stealing. Yeah. I would recommend seeking a different school but who knows maybe it will improve in the future. I am now going to a different school in another country and I love it.

I went to this school many many years ago. I loved it and the teachers the head at the time was Mr Simpson that tells you how long ago. I was saddened to read the review.
