I worked 2 times in the best nursing home out of the 15 I've worked in .off 35 years ever . Mr and Mrs Hill . Are great people . In mmiv I did a charity run from the cornmill nursing to the greater Manchester studios for BBC children raisin 500 on a green free spirit bike . I became chief first aider we had our garstang first exam night in the conservatory . Staff are wonderful to work and they know their jobs absolutely professionally the standard of care is 5 excellent is I would have garstang I would be there today on nights almost 37 years instead of 12 years working there . I recommend people who are looking for nursing care look at the cornmill you won't be disappointed

Had to take my mother in law in for continuing care after a long stay in hospital. Very friendly place. Staff were all very efficient. Food was excellent, lots of choice and well presented. Unfortunate that mother in law was not in a good enough condition to appreciate the facilities and join in with the social activities.

Excellent care home. Took my mum in at short notice for respite. They were fabulous. Caring, great food, well organised. Everything you could possibly want to see and she had a great time. Only gripe would be the lack of wifi - even the over 80's like to check their email!

Excellent nursing care the best home in the country by far the staff where superb such a shame my mother was only there before she passed away for 3weeks excellent views superb setting on the banks of the river eyed thank you cornmill
