I rented a van recently. It was brand new, mechanically sound and clean. I rented the van, filling out all of the paper work. I was then taken to the van out back for inspection. At this point I was told that if there was any damage no matter how slight I would be liable to pay 1200 pounds. In disbelief I asked what if it was only Damage to the value of 20 quid. I was told that I would still be liable for 1200 and that after the damage was assessed and repaired then I would be refunded unless I took up their offer of additional cover for 31 per day. Annoyingly I only needed the van on Saturday afternoon. I asked if I could return the van later that day. Nope! Early dart on Saturday for the staff of ethe Enterprise and I would have to pay for Sunday's cover since they don't work Sunday's (good honest Christian folk no doubt). At this point I am feeling like they are having my pants down and no reach around for me. I already have rented the van. I need the van and I have no back up. So basically I have to go along with it. My missus rented a car from here before and she too was told about the additional cover only after she had rented the car. It seems like a tactic to me to get extra money from you with the fear of costly repair. I won't hire from here again, it feels a bit seedy and Dodgy.

Possibly the worst company i've ever dealt with.. The staff (Ryan) was unhelpful and arrogant from the start refusing to help us sort a courtesy car after my daughters non fault accident. after standing our ground and making them look into it all, it turns out they'd taken all the details wrong and put the wrong persons name on the insurance claim - trying to swap this was and IS a complete nightmare!! During one phone call Ryan made, he told the person on the phone I was my daughters partner!! Then laughed when pointed out that am dad! Not sure how I kept my temper... will never use enterprise again, especially this one! Been in touch with Head Office and logged a complaint against them, it's now 3 days after my daughter was crashed into and still no courtesy car has been provided, in fact I'm still having to explain the error to EVERYONE i speak to about this!! Luckily for them I can't give them minus stars as 1 star seems too nice! DO NOT USE THIS BRANCH WHATSOEVER!!!

Rented a van and the staff were so helpful, we didn't have time to fill it up before we returned, we thought they would just charge is some high amount but we were told how much and then asked if we thought it was fair and it was. Will definitely be returning in the future.

V poor this morning. Was in office organising a car hire for Thurs afternoon for use on Friday. Went through all details with one assistant including request it could be dropped off at my house 1 mile away on Thurs afternoon. Only then to be told by second assistant in rather terse manner 'we don't drop off for retail customers'. Wasted nearly 30 mins for nothing and Enterprise lost nearly 90 of business. And I may not use again. Cannot recommend.
