Went to garstang timber as nobody i normally deal with had the large timbers i needed for a loft , I was seen to promptly ,my order was organised for following morning to be collected ,when I arrive there was my order all ready for me,as arranged perfect thank you.

Not sure why the other reviewers rate this place... Possibly the worst service I have experienced. Phoned them to confirm items in stock, upon arrival items are wrong width, wrong thickness and wrong length. As a customer I don't expect to have to go from the counter to the warehouse and back, then again to see your stock levels. This should all be on your computer system. I didn't get a price for the timber I required, I went to Preston and got excellent service from Savoy.

The driver delivering my wood, rather than leave it at the end of my terraced street (I live in the middle), very kindly negotiated a narrow backstreet with overhanging hedges, to leave my delivery on my parking area. This was greatly appreciated. Thank you. I should also like to mention that due to covid-19 I ordered the wood via email, they continued to email me until they understood exactly what I wanted from them, then, gave me a a quote. Very easy.
