Not the time of the year to remove an old terrace roof and replace with a new one, especially with high winds, frequent showers and persistent rain, and of course the clocks going back. Paul persevered, working long hours (9-6), sometimes in the dark, only to discover the back roof of the house had 3 different sizes of slate, damaged and repaired over many years as it backs onto the cricket pitch in Croston. The back roof had certainly taken a peppering of cricket balls as could be seen by the irregular shape of the roof. Having removed all slates and covered the loft space, the render previously bedding the roof filled 18 bags - wow! The new roof will be lot lighter, thanks! Finally completed and with a skylight window on the back, both back and front look neat and tidy. Well done Paul, a great job!
