A mix bag of positives and negatives, firstly the negatives. -Not all open, but Covid to blame. -The food is not good at all! Takeaway burger was inedible and restaurant food was not great. -Not much going on in the surrounding area but that didn't really bother us. -Swimming pool was a bit cold, it was perfect on the first day. Now positives. -The staff are amazing, very friendly and helpful. -The caravan was lovely, fairly modern, spacious and very very clean!! -The little shop is well stocked and cheap. All in all it is a great little site with access to the lakes by car and beautiful walks along the beach front.

Great little place. It was a shame that not all facilities were open but that is Covid for you. The pool timings were great and the staff very helpful.

I bought a brand new caravan at Solway Holiday Village 4 years ago. From day one the Willerby Gold caravan had a miriad of faults, which were only dealt with in the second year when Laura took charge of sales. Since then it has developed many more and I cannot get them repaired. The site keep telling me that they have been reported, but the repairs never happen. I contacted Willerby who said that they will only deal with issues repoted to them by the site. One of the faults to develop this summer was a leak in the boiler, which means that, as it has not been repaired, I cannot drain the system down for the winter. Apart from that, the warranty is running out and the site manager does not care because the managers change every year and he will be leaving very soon. Having looked at all of my options and been advised by Trading Standards that I have a case against the site for breach of contract, I have now instructed my solicitor to proceed on my behalf. Save yourself a lot of grief and have nothing to do with Hagan's Leisure Group.

Worst place i have ever worked, expected to cover all the site on call 6 nights per week, with no transport or waterproof clothing, and do all the maintenance work on the touring site, with no help from maintenance team. They also contacted my next employer and lost me that job before i started. Good luck to the next touring warden, you won't last long.
