Haslam park was my local park as a young boy and a teenager. Round the outer edge there are lots of places for adventure, stream, duck pond and Lancaster canal. There is a tree lined avenue and lots of flat space in centre for football. In my youth there was an outdoor swimming pool and a large play ground, this is now a car park. The play ground has been re- located. All in all a good Preston park for all ages. David Hills.

A great park good for dog walkers and brilliant for families with young children, has a renovated play park and the pond is great for feeding the ducks

Me and Lola (my dog) really love this park...very popular with dog walkers...decent little car park where there is always a space... We jump on the canal and walk the length till back of park and rejoin around pond (shame the bridge is out of action) but meant we just walked all the way back round... Well maintained, and the play park is under construction atm... good mix of spaces and gardens
