Desperately needed to stay somewhere for the night, despite staying a bit longer than expected the place was pretty nice, comfortable warm rooms and nice TV. My only complaint is the staff were not very nice but aside from that room service wasn't bad. I think other reviews were a bit too hard comparing it to a prison, and I wasn't very happy about having a shared room, but I can deal with it.

After reading some of the reviews on the premises, all I can say is they read like a person who is giving a review on a hotel instead of a prison. Where they send people to do there time \\ punishment for the crime they have committed. So I have to say that if you cannot do the time. THEN DON'T DO THE CRIME.
First time visiting this prison. Terrible experience, no parking facilities so had to park quite far away. Got to the prison to find the prison don't accept notes for the cafe/snack shop. Finally got to the \cafe/snack shop\ and there was literally nothing there worth buying. Chocolate, crisp, sweets and fizzy drinks. No fruit, decent sandwiches or any still drinks for children. They charge 1.50 for a bottle of fizzy drink, single size and 1 for a chocolate bar. It was outrageous. No play area in the visitation room all there was, was a plastic box of books which were kicked about and ripped. The only good thing to say is the staff were very polite and kind and explained the routine really well.
Great! Food cooked fresh 3 times a day, washing and ironing all done and shopping delivered to your door. All rooms en suite. Would of preferred more than 5 channels to watch on the TV in my room.
Rooms not bad 3 meals a day grate security. Free pool table.
