Very poor meals, steak and ale pie was dry and the steak chewy, the chips tasted as if they had been re heated and where bendy. Did complain and most of the food returned, was fully charged for the food apart from 1 glass of wine. Had eaten here on numerous occasions in the past and always enjoyed our meals. Wont be returning.

Pre booking is desirable but depending on time of day not always necessary. Only one cask ale but a good one. We will definitely prebook soon for a meal, great location and very friendly staff.
