More lies today from Parcelforce Preston. When I finally got to speak to someone about the non-delivery they promised to send it to a local post office on 23rd December. But, they returned it to the depot. I rang them again and they said they were sorry but they will deliver it to a post office on Tuesday (today). They sent it to the wrong address again and now say they have no record of the previous calls. Lazy liars. Update: Another half an hour on the phone to these chumps again yesterday. Again promised to deliver it to a post office today and told me a manager would ring me back that day. Of course they didn't ring and they again returned my parcel to the depot. Seriously considering involving the police,

A very reluctant 1 star just so I can place this review. To say I'm dissatisfied with the service is an understatement! My delivery was due today so while checking the tracking it said my delivery had arrived and been signed for.... news to me as I was home all day so I checked the tracking information more carefully and apparently it had been signed for and delivered while still at the depot!? Is teleportation a thing now because I didn't think it was possible to get from Walton summit to leyland in the 4 mins it had stated on the information.... hhhhhmmmmm seems like a certain driver was trying to steal my parcel of wine's! Not this time pal!! After 3 phone calls I've finally received my parcel and the driver couldn't get away from my door fast enough! I'd also like to add that I doubt I'd of got anywhere if I'd left it to the first 2 women I spoke to today, thankfully the gentleman I spoke to last actually got a result and even kept to his word and called me back so a big thanks deserved to him *in response to the owners reply.... Surely it's not my place to tell you to talk to your staff if your aware of them not doing their jobs competently. Just by reading all the other reviews it's clear that there's alot of problems with the way staff are doing their jobs. Maybe you need a better appraisal system, better training/ retraining of current staff or just employ staff that want to work correctly

Booked a parcel collection on Monday for Wednesday. Nobody came. phoned on Thursday, was promised it would happen then. Nobody came. Same story on Friday, nobody came. Spoke to HQ this morning, was promised someone would call me back, but, lo and behold, you're now closed and I'm no closer to having this parcel collected. Of course, it's irrelevant to you that by not collecting this parcel, you have actually cost me, as an individual, 150. Not happy in the slightest

What really justifies the 1 star review is the automated online/telephone helpline. There is no option for PCW couldn't find where I live for the second time in a week. Please use the substantial profit from the rise in online orders to employ some trained people to answer the 'phone rather than rack up more profits. Alternatively, please advise your drivers to use an online resource such as PCW's own postcode tracker that accurately locates my house.
