Plau is a lovely brunch place to go to. It has a nice rustic but cosy atmosphere and the staff are lovely. The food is delicious and the setting and presentation is very well done and do a high standard. The price reflects the service and experience so I would say the price is about right for the food. I recommend this place for a nice brunch with friends.

The atmosphere is nice, the staff are considerate, but the food is disappointing. My partner had ROOT VEGETABLE KATSU which was too much of a liquid curry, and I had LEEK, TOMATO & ALMOND KHINKALI which tasted like curry and didn't look like khinkali at all. Caucasus cuisine is very dear to me as I'm a half Armenian. We also didn't find any vegan salad in starters but the waiter went and asked the chef if something can be made for us, and although I appreciate the effort of something being made for us off menu, it was a very vinegary almost uneatable \salad\ with watercress and a few raspberries. It is a great idea to take non vegan dishes (and non junk food too!) and make the vegan variation but alas these dishes need a lot of work.
Exceptional food, drink and staff/management! Great atmosphere. Highly recommended, a real gem.
I bought a few beers from the online shop during lockdown and knew I needed to give it a try when it opened back up. Last night was the first time we have been able to visit and we will definitely be returning. The food and drink were second to none, the service and setting was great. I never leave reviews but I was that impressed I felt I had to leave one. Absolutely top drawer and a credit to Preston! Keep up the great work!!
Couldn't fault this place. Great food and drinks. Nice feature with the well in the lower bar..
