fly tipping , how many convictions have been made in 2020 ? and how much in fines was the outcome . max fine 50k . Why we own 9 road sweepers and only use them months apart .

Difficult to review a council when they deal with lots of different areas. Council tax is relatively expensive compared to others surrounding me. I'm a 2 minute walk away from Ribble Valley Council which are around 200 per year cheaper on Council Tax for my band. And Preston charge extra if you want your garden waste bin emptying. Bin service is pretty good to be fair, had a couple of issues in the past, the latest being missing the re-arranged Christmas bin collection as we weren't informed when it would be. Sent a complaint online, never heard anything but the next day a bin lorry came specially to our house and then bin men came down the drive and emptied our bins for us. Excellent service.

Online services waste of time. Ordered a replacement recycling bin online which was damaged by the refuge collectors a few weeks back. Nonresponse No que system on the phone either. What a total joke! I pay Council tax. Imagine what would happen if I were late with payment!

Can I say that Preston Council and in particular Ms Phyll Little have been very supportive of my business in Preston and I would like to thank Ms Little for her courtesy and helpfulness during a difficult time. Business and the council need to work together and they are doing their best to keep people trading and in jobs. Thanks Nick Hanley

They are quick to chase you for money when you a bit late with council tax. But if u report any issues to them rubbish, loud neighbours etc they just ignore you and do nothing! Horrible council total waste of space!
