Rise it a lovely little brunch place on the entrance of miller arcade. They have a good variety of breakfast and lunch options and when I went I tried the poached eggs with salmon and mushrooms. The food itself was quite good, however the eggs left a vinegar taste in the mouth sometimes maybe due to how it was poached. The experience for me also wasn't the best partly due to the wait time of 1 hour 20 mins from lining up to go in, to our food being served, which we waited 50 mins to get once in. Obviously it cannot be helped if they are busy but perhaps employing more staff and equipment would be more appropriate. Also I was seated on a stool next to the kitchen so it was uncomfortable to sit on and quite noisy. I might go again at a quieter time as I dont think I got the best experience. The price is slightly pricey which you'd expect from a brunch place. Id recommend to go to this place for a brunch but avoid lunch time as you will be waiting for hours. Preferably before 12 and after 3.
Popped in for breakfast takeaway - halloumi, avocado and egg bap! It was delicious! Lovely service with friendly staff! This will be my breakfast go to place!
First restaurant I’ve been too for over 6 months due to lockdown and corona and I could not have picked a better place to start. The staff were super friendly (my server was Jess and she was so welcoming) and made sure everyone was safe and distanced while still maintaining a relaxed atmosphere. The food was incredible, definitely recommend the chorizo sausages :) 10/10
