RoamingExpert was formed in 2012 to tackle the issue of expensive and inflexible roaming charges. Since then, we have worked with businesses of all types and sizes ranging from large multi-nationals to individual consultants. On the face of it, we may appear to be just another mobile phone company – we’re not! In 2014 we researched the yachting industry and, having established their requirements, have been supplying high volume roaming data sims since March 2015. In a very short space of time we have become recognised as one of the main industry suppliers for this type of service and now supply roaming data sims to over 400 yachts worldwide. We have highlighted the motorsport industry as one with similar requirements to the yachts. Not only is there a significant amount of international travel but there is also the need for large volumes of data. After research and discussions we found a big issue in the motorsport industry is expensive, patchy and slow WiFi at the race tracks. To combat this issue we have designed and built a custom made box (Tag WiFi) to provide connectivity at race tracks around the world. Our Truck and Garage WiFi systems use LTE networks around the world to provide good value connectivity solutions direct to where they are required in the paddock. Tag WiFi can be used as a stand alone product to provide WiFi in trucks or garages, can be connected to existing networks to provide internet connectivity to your in house systems or can be used as a flexible base for running your entire network. Need more range on your WiFi to cover larger garages and support areas? The Tag WiFi solution is easily extendable to cover large areas and can support up to 1,000 users. Our WiFi boxes are custom manufactured and contain enterprise grade components from companies such as Peplink and Ubiquiti.
