Popped into this pub restaurant last Tuesday for coffee and ended up having lunch and it was superb! Then booked for Thursday evening! The staff were lovely, attentive, food was excellent, the Covid set up worked well and most important of all, they welcomed our dog! Thank you. Will definitely come back next year.

The pub was somewhat run down inside having been greated by a very friendly gentlemen who unfortunately looked like he'd been on an all-nighter. I ordered duck which was ok apart from the gravy which was very watery. Wife had steak which was also ok served with oven chips. Mother-in-law had steak and ale pie, the pastry was very thick and served with very hard carrots. Just glad this was half price because it was not worth the price it should have been. If you are in this area and for the same price the Italian Orchard is by far better.
Nice pub food, quite big portions. Very cosy inside and the staff were friendly and accommodating.

Social distancing in place, so can feel reassured when dining. One way system in place... great food, staff were really professional,polite and friendly. Can highly recommend
