I called last week looking to book a specific holiday where I had done all the research. It was clear the consultant did not know the tour operator as she had to check they sold them. She advised they could not better the price I had seen until I said another agent had offered a discount. Only then did she offer to ask her manager who was on their lunch break but that she would call me back. I booked that day- with another agent who was so knowledgeable and helpful and clearly knew his stuff. He works for Travel Councellors. I’m still waiting for Tui to call me back.

Normally book online but as we were booking our first cruise decided to go to the Tui shop for hopefully trained, helpful and knowledgeable staff. We made a booking but have subsequently found that some advice and information was inaccurate and misleading. Might just as well have trusted our own booking online as we gained nothing of any value, actually contrary advice.
