Absolutely appalling customer service. I ordered 2 gas stoves and 8 cannisters of gas from their website on 1st December 2020. I received a refund of 20 the next day with no explanation but assumed it was for the gas cannisters (no problem). After 8 days I contacted them to see where the stoves were. Their first response was to say I should received them in the next couple of days. I didn't. After trying numerous times to contact them by phone I sent an email. I was told the stoves had been delivered. They had not. I contacted them again by email, they replied a week later to say they had no stoves in stock and they had refunded my money on 7th December, they had not. I eventually turned to my bank and asked them to complete a 'chargeback'. I provided the bank all the emails containing their lies and poor service. Within 5 days my bank returned the money to me. This retailer is extremely poor when it comes to customer service and rectifying issues. I would never recommend purchasing anything from them

WARNING! WARNING! If you shop at the Merry Hill store in Dudley and spend ages looking through all the products then get a little tired and hungry and sit down for a nice snack and relaxing chat in the cafe then take your goods to the checkout and spend hundreds of pounds with them....You'll be landed with an 100 parking fine... THE ULTIMATE #FAIL..... (the signs are way too small - who really looks at them anyway)

Always a pleasure to shop here. The staff always go the extra mile. Scott the assistant manager and Craig are so friendly, always go above and behond and nothing is too much trouble. Excellent lovely store great choice and pet friendly. We travel from Manchester just to shop here.

Food is always nice and reasonably priced for the quality. Few places can beat their eggs benedict. Pancakes and meringues are lovely. Great vegetarian options too. They also offer student discount.

The salesperson was very helpful. However the after sales service was a let down. My partner bought a pair of Meindl walking boots for 95. They leaked first time out so he reproofed them. The boots let water in at the heel and toe on two subsequent outings. He takes great care of his boots and always cleans them after each walk.As he'd only had them one month he took them back to the shop. They had to be sent off for inspection. We received them back today and were told that the 'alleged fault is a result of improper care after purchase' As they let water in the first time out and have only been worn three times I fail to understand how they came to this conclusion. They still look like new! I am very disappointed in the way we have been treated and would not buy anything from this company again.

Preston store. Getting a refund on faulty boots was a bit of a nightmare. Know your rights before you go as i did as the law has changed. Staff member did acknowledged the law had changed but said company policy was different to the LAW. I got my refund as the law states i should of in the end. I will not be buying from Ultimate Outdoors again. Google consumer rights act 2015.
