I purchased my first carbon fiber violin for 5700 from Prima Sonoro. I wasn't sure what I was getting since the company was still new. However, it is one of the best violins I have ever owned. It is lighter than any wooden violin I own And the sound is amazing. It sounds like the wooden violin. I plan on buying another one of their cheaper versions for travelling.

I bought a carbon fibre cello from this company and opted for all the upgrades - helicore strings, premium luthier soundpost and bridge. I am very pleased with my instrument. I can play in classical orchestras or in modern rock or contemporary groups and the sound is amazing for all styles. Highly recommend. I have played on a variety of wood instruments and the carbon fibre is clearly superior - resistant to heat and humidity as well as having a bright upper tone and dark lower tone. This instrument sounds like Gold. It handles better than the wood ones. Also, it is so light and is always in tune. Magic between fingers happens when I play Prima Sonoro cellos. Highly recommend!!
