Tried to reach the bank by phone. Had a emergency call for my husband couldn't reach him. Then they put you through the calling centre. It would be quicker to drive there.

This place is so terrible. 2 years ago my girlfriend and I got a mortgage through them. 1 year later they dinged us for more taxes because they messed up. Than told me its my job to make sure they do their math right and do their jobs correctly!. Than again they started taking the loan for our car out of the wrong account so i call to change it. The guy on the phone tells me that they can not verify its me. I said alright well try again and ask me a question that I have direct access to the answer as i do not bank with you so i have no physical copy of anything such as an account card. I do not have time to go down there and im trying to do this over the phone so my girlfriend does not have to go to your terrible establishment while holding a baby just to be told she doesn't understand like her previous visit. He says you have to phone back and wait in line again! Like this is so stupid get your hit together. I try my best to be polite and nice in person and on the phone, but your whole " TEAM " makes it very difficult

Seem to be not very honest between what they offer and what they deliver.
I went in to use the ATM and it was at the language section I press French because I can understand alitte but I had to deposit 200. So I went to the teller and asked if I can make a withdraw she said it'll be 5... So she helps me at the ATM instead of charging me and said if I don't press anything it would automatically go to English if I knew that I would've called her or went to her... As for that take a picture of your cheque and instant cash is bullsheit on the advertisements it doesn't display the warnings that you had to wait three days (Less if you have a good credit) I had to go to the bank and ask them to take off the hold because I wasn't aware of the wait. She gladly took it off and explained that there was a individual that was doing it and coming in cashing their cheque afterwards which was u understandable. But I would like a warning...
It was the worst ever worst bank anyone could ever go to. I sent my boyfriend in to put cash into my account . Then they cut up my bank card on him And when I called to talk to a rep they were very useless unhelpful and seemed like they didn't care or want to even be on the phone with me. Which they should me and my boyfriend are both scotiabank customers And usually when a bussiness or company wants to keep.customer they don't treat them like trash. Prince albert location for scotia bank I would name the worst bank and the employers are horrid. Highly recommend no one goes or uses scotia bank.
No issues here, got screwed by the Affinity credit union and RBC over the course of 8 years switched to Scotia and have had no issues ever since
