I would like to thank the staff their help when I had to put my best friend, my little shadow summer down. They were very quick in getting her sedated. They allowed me private time with her until she slept. She was 16.

Honestly, they take good care of the animals, and I have no doubt that they have the best intentions. BUT I am ALWAYS disappointed with the customer service. Not once have they answered the phone and given me the time of day without me having to be assertive, I’m ALWAYS kept waiting 20 minutes for an appointment (once I was kept waiting for an HOUR, for them to return my furbaby after 15 minutes), and every time I call I’m put on hold regardless of what I was calling in for. If there was another vet in the city I wouldn’t come here. I’m usually a really patient and understanding person, and with COVID, I get it, but it’s absolutely every time. They get 3 stars for caring for my fur babies.
The customer service is the clear downfall of this vet clinic. Yes the animal care is important in a business but so is the treatment of the people paying for the services provided. I had booked an appointment for my dog and showed up 15 mins early to be told over the phone that they had no record of the appointment as they were fully booked. The appointment was made and the person on the phone even had the audacity to suggest that perhaps I was mistaken and had booked at another vet. This type of rude, subpar, incompetent customer service wasn't surprising as this has happened before. We had both of our dogs looked after there for years but this unapologetic attitude with not honoring my dogs appointment was the final straw. I would recommend another vet unless you want to be treated ignorantly and with disregard as a paying customer.

Extremely happy with the staff and the vet, Dr Bergeron. Our youngest dog had suffered for several years with chronic issues. In two consults with Dr Bergeron, suggestions and narrowing down issues have found a good treatment plan and turned out dog back into her old beautiful happy self. Our oldest dog has started at this clinic again as well and I am so confident at the questions asked by the clinic and the treatment from Dr Bergeron.
Dr. Bergeron, is undoubtedly the best vet. She is caring and compassionate and treats your pets like her own. If you have any questions she will get back to you as soon as she can, no matter how busy her day. I would highly recommend South Hill Animal Clinic.
I'll never forget when I almost lost my cat to an infection and when I tried to set up an appointment they escorted me out and locked the door behind me. I was crying and begging the secretary to help me set up an appointment and she was so cold and told me to go somewhere else. I would honestly go to Park Range. They're only a few minutes away and they were empathetic and saved my kitten.
