Yup, the waiting room means waiting. A long time. But he spends as much time as is required/desired for every patient. I have a rare and impossible to control disease and he never gives up. I’ve sobbed in his office so many times and he assures me, correctly, he will never, ever stop trying. The office nurse is superhuman. She works tirelessly until nearly 9pm every night. Bonus: the office has expanded double in size for staff, patients, all of it. He’s working on seeing everyone in a way doctors aren’t compensated by insurance. We have a trusting dr patient relationship, and he really reaches out to my always accompanying family member to go over details again with them as my memory has deteriorated. You are so lucky to have him in our area. Wait in that waiting room. Just do it. The expanding staff....double what he had before is wonderful. Want to know why it takes so long to get an appointment? He is in such demand due to his abilities and he is just one human being. The staff do what they can to squeeze every minute out of every day, and the demand for his help is overwhelming them. Good news: once you get in for the first consultation, depending on your needs, you might not wait 3 months at that point. They make sure you are seen in the proper time frame once they know what you need.

Ive been a patient of Dr Kerasidis for a few years now. I have no issue with his front staff or himself. My issue is complex, he took the time to test accordingly and took time to explain everything in laymans terms so I was sure to understand. When meds came to treatment - he ended up prescribing me a totally natural med therapy I can buy off Amazon and actually works wonderfully. His front staff is always pleasant. And when I had issues one weekend, I called, left the applicable message and even though in the wrong extension, the applicable nurse called me right back, listened to me and my experiences, promised she would call me back after she discusses with Dr Kerasidis and she did! Appointment was set for Monday morning (it was Thursday). I know people have had issues - I have had a few Dr cancelled appointments but guess what - the Dr is human too. Extenuating circumstances required a reschedule. He has a family and life outside this office. Family first - I can respect that. I can also respect the excellent care I have received and continue to receive here.

I really don't get the negative reviews. I had gone to the emergency room for a particular health issue. I was told to see the neurologist. I called and was told I could not be seen until November (it was June) I explained the situation and was put through to the nurse. I left my message. I can't tell you how surprised I was when I received a phone call back, at 8 that kight. The nurse was very pleasant (after a long da . I'm sure) and told me I would be seen the following week, but she would call back to let me know the time. I went the following week and saw the doctor. He took an hour with me, explained everything. I just have to wait for lab work results. A very great experience with the nurse and doctor

He won an award for compassion. That must be a joke. He refused to see my husband and cannot operate on him until November. He has been used as an expert witness for our brother-in-law. And paid well. I guess they too can find someone who is truly compassion

Dr Kerasidis is a competent caring neurologist. I have been his patient for years . The office nurse responds quickly to any concerns you have about your medications or treatments. I feel we are very lucky to have this doctor practicing in the Southern Maryland area.
