The staff are relatively friendly and helpful when visitors arrive... BUT if my sister does not visit soon enough she discovers that on MANY occasions our mother is being ignored. My mother is 99 years old and is very dependent. The staff at Acropolis Manor DO NOT take proper care of the East Wing residents. I can't comment on the other wings because my Mum is in the East wing. If my sister doesn't visit, NO ONE assists my mum to the toilet and as a result soils herself, then she's left to sit in it all day. Some days when my sister arrives, my mum is still strapped to her wheelchair in the dining room yelling for help and being ignored. My Mum can no longer help herself, all her pension goes to this place, and she DOES NOT GET HELP HERE!
