We had an absolutely TERRIBLE experience with GMC. You can’t get a hold of anyone, we’ve left numerous voicemails with zero response to this day. They had our truck for over a week for a fix that we were able to do on our driveway in 20 minutes - and yes we had a scheduled appointment. Unfortunately we had to calibrate the new piece with GMC’s computer. After informing GMC EXACTLY what part needed to be replaced as we had already run tests to determine the issue, GMC ignored us and then proceeded to charge us 600 and in the end the issue was exactly what we had told them. Then after arranging a shuttle pickup, they no showed and of course did not answer any of our calls. Once we finally got our truck back we found a part from someone else’s vehicle in our truck and our tire has a new huge scuff mark on it. We will literally tow our vehicle to another town before coming back to this GMC because the experience was THAT BAD. Save yourself the stress and hassle and GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

I took my car to this dealership hoping for professionalism and for the work to be taken seriously. I unfortunately did not receive this. 27 days, three times I was called in to say it was fixed, and three times I made it 30 seconds down the road before the check engine light came on once again. Almost 1000 invested into this issue at this dealership, over half of which was labour, and was asked for another 400 (they were offering to pay labour at this point) to replace yet another thing which was, at best, an educated guess. I spoke with one employee to book my car in for the second time, was told they would call within 2-3 days with an update. After 4 days I called to find out I was not given an appointment and the car had not been seen. The third time I spoke with another employee and was given an update on what they believed was the issue and how much it would cost to fix it. Agreed to all work. I called back the following day to find out that they were waiting for me to call to confirm that the work could be done. Add another couple of days and it was "fixed". I am an extremely patient person when it comes to businesses and understand that cars can be difficult to pinpoint the exact problem, but I was not impressed with how this whole thing was treated. I was called to pick up my car three separate times because "it is fixed, we test drove it, no issues". I hope that noone else is given this "go-around".

It is so awesome go there and they are genuinely happy to see you. After many, many years of buying new vehicles in Penticton because of the extremely poor service in Prince Rupert, my son and I decided to take our business back to Prince Rupert when the new owners took over. They were very eager to sell us new vehicles but not so eager to see us or talk to us when we needed post-sales help. After we spent a combined 150,000 on new pickups, I charitably assumed that they would at least ask us how we were enjoying our new vehicles, but we’ve heard squat. My youngest son also has a GM vehicle and they have treated him abysmally on service visits - even crazy-gluing his door handle together when it broke. This dealership has regained its status as a stereotypical car dealership. Back to Penticton we go!
