I have been extremely impressed by Dr Mei. Her background is of a ENT physician who many years ago became an audiologist. She therefore has a deep understanding of the auditory system and combines this with an enthusiastic interest in solving hearing problems. She is an excellent clinician. She is also independent, and will recommend the best hearing aids for a particular problem, rather than be beholden to a certain brand. Her prices I have found to be overall the same or less expensive than other providers. Also importantly she is very available and will solve any problems that invariably comes up with the sometimes delicate hearing aids.

Dr. Mei Gao is a wonderful audiologist. I've been her patient since April, 2020. The reason I appreciate her is because: 1. She is very attentive to the patient's needs; 2. She makes sure she takes the time to answer all of your questions with full explanations; 3. She prescribes hearing solutions that are specific to your lifestyle, hearing conditions, with due consideration of the patient's financial situation; 5. At subsequent visits she carefully and thoroughly makes all setting, software and mechanical adjustments that fits the patient's needs. 6. She is always available with prompt call backs for any telephone inquiries I make with regard to my hearing situation; 7. She is super intelligent and seems up-to-date on all recent research. Bottom line: I highly recommend Mei as a highly professional, thorough, and compassionate and first-in-class caregiver to anyone who has needs for a competent audiologist. I look forward to an ongoing caregiving relationship with Dr. Gao for all follow up visits.

Dr. Gao was recommended to me after I had tried, and been dissatisfied with a number of other audiologists. Dr. Gao was the only audiologist who figured out how to address my particular problems. She is attentive, thoughtful and knowledgeable. She uses state of the art equipment and is familiar with the latest hearing aid technology. I am very pleased that she has moved back to Princeton.

Mei Gao has been helping me hear better for years. She always has time to review any problems I might be having with my hearing aids. Technological advances are continuous, but she has never recommended and upgrade when she felt my current hearing aids were doing the most that any hearing aids could do. I trust her completely.
