Home FUTURE CHAMPIONS TOUR CANCELLED FOR 2020 June 23, 2020 Starting July 1st we will be back 12 minute spacing between tee times. There will be no guarantee that gas carts will be available for rent at the time of your scheduled tee time. Golfers are welcome to pair up in carts if from the same household.  Single rider carts will be available upon request. FRIENDS AND FAMILY DISCOUNT At this time we will NOT be offering the “Friends and Family” discount as we have over the last 2 seasons. June 10,  2020 All online bookings are back to normal, how we did it post COV19.  Book your tee times online and pay at the golf course starting June 15, 2020   Phase 3 Driving Ranges / Putting Greens All driving ranges will be open Friday, May 22nd.   Every other driving range stall will be blocked off to keep the 6 feet social distancing practice in effect.   Driving range pin #’s, tokens or reloading range cards, can be purchased over the phone by calling the pro shop by using a credit, debit or gift card as the form of payment.   It is recommended that a golf glove is used when using the key pad to dispense range balls.   All baskets next to the ball dispenser are clean and sanitized, only touch the top basket when removing from the stack of baskets.  After dumping the balls, leave the basket on the grass, DO NOT return used baskets to the ball dispensing machine.  Our staff will pick up and sanitize all baskets before they are returned for use again. Putting greens will only be opened to golfers that are scheduled for a tee time that day. No cups will be cut in practice green or pins be placed on the greens.   Social distancing should be practiced while on the putting green. The starter can limit the number of players on putting green at one particular team.   Foursomes / Carts Starting on Monday, May 18th, Foursomes could officially be booked for play on Monday, May 25th (Memorial Day) and moving forward.  We are still at the 16 minute spacing between groups for tee times.   Weekend tee times begin at 6:00am and weekdays at 7:00am. Carts will be issued as single rider carts on a first come first serve basis based on the order of tee times going out on the course. Family members or anyone electing to share a cart will be allowed.  Mercer County staff will never force any one to share a cart with another rider.  All green fees will still need to be pre-paid in advance at time of booking.   Carts and range can be paid the day of play by calling the respective pro shop.  All cart sales for the day must be made by 5:30pm.  No carts will be sold for tee times after 5:30pm, WALKING ONLY for the remaining tee times.  All carts must be returned 20 minutes prior to sunset each night so they can be cleaned and sanitized for the following day. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ MAY 18, 2020 Phase 2 Opening Mercer County golf is still operating under the Governor’s Executive Order in allowing twosomes every 16 minutes. All tee times must be pre-paid before arriving at the course.  We will be letting carts out starting Wednesday, May 20th.   1 Person per cart, unless two members from the same household will be permitted/reccomended to share a cart.  Each person will pay the $16 cart fee. Bathroom facilities ONLY at all golf courses will be open starting this weekend. (Saturday, May 16th)   Paying for Carts On the day of your pre-paid tee time, carts can be paid for by calling the pro shop Monday – Friday, 6:30am to 6:00pm; and Saturday and Sunday between 5:45am to 6:00pm.  You can use credit card or a gift card for this transaction.  When you call, refer to your tee time and let the staff know you would like to add a cart to the pre-paid greens fee. If two people from the same household will be riding in the same cart, let the manager know to charge for 2 riders ($16 x 2).  Once completed, you can take a cart from the sanitized cart section.  The starter will be notified that a cart was paid for. There is NO GUARANTEE that carts will be available at your tee time.  You cannot reserve in advance.  As the tee time comes up carts will go out in that order.   With single rider carts, there is a chance a course can run out of carts. Cart Return Procedures All carts prior to going out on the course will be cleaned and sanitized. You MUST follow the signage as to what carts to take and where they are returned after your round.  Used carts cannot be returned to any other place then where directed.  Carts will be cleaned and sanitized before they leave the returned area.  We don’t want to mix up used carts and sanitized carts.  Please help us out to keep everyone safe. On-Line Member Tee Time Booking Please make sure before you go into Member booking portal that you have renewed your Mercer County ID card for the 2020 season. When booking online, make sure that the email address you have provided us is the same as the one you’re logging in with, that is your user name.  If no tee times appear, uncheck all the boxes and restart the app or refresh your browser.  If you’re still having problems, please call us at any of the 3 Golf Shops. Tee Time Booking / Pre-paying  / Using Gift Cards Tee times can be booked and pre-paid during 8am to 4pm in the pro shops as well. Credit card or gift cards will be accepted for payment. Pace Of Play As we open up carts to our golfers, we want to instill that we will still be adhering to the social distancing rule. We know that it may be slow for some groups of riders behind walkers. Please be respectful to our rangers, as we will do our best to keep everyone on pace. 2 single riders will most likely catch 2 walkers.   Please keep distancing and not rush up on group in front of you.   _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ May 12, 2020 The call center (844) 595-3324 can now book tee times and has the ability to charge you at the time of booking. When booking tee times online you must go to our website www.golfmercercounty.com scroll to tee times and then down to member tee times. Your 2020 membership must be purchased before having the ability to book online.  You can purchase on the same website under Online Store, then selecting the appropriate member category. If you have never booked tee times before on this website hit sign up first. Note that your email address is your username and it must be the email address we have on file for you under your membership. If you need help please email [email protected] GOLF UPDATE: MAY 1 The Mercer County Park Commission would like to announce that our four County golf courses will be opening on Saturday, May 2nd at 7:00am.  We are opening under a new set of guidelines and rules that need to be followed in-order for us to let players on the course.  Mercer County is implementing a two-phase process. Phase 1 will start on May 2nd and then by following Federal, State and local restrictions we will be able to safely transition into Phase 2. Tee Time Booking Will Start Thursday April 30th  at 6:00pm  Tee times released today will be for Saturday, May 2nd through Wednesday, May 6th. At 8pm today all advanced booking will resume back to the normal booking procedures. (8pm, 7-Days in advance) Phase 1 rules are as follows The Clubhouses, Pro Shops, Clubhouse Patio’s, Bathrooms and all practice facilities will be CLOSED! Twosomes Only!   16 minutes apart. All tee times must be booked and prepaid online. We are working with the call center to be able to take payments over the phone as well. (1-844-595-3324) This can hopefully be confirmed later today. Golfers must have an updated 2020 ID card in order to get the County Rate at time of booking. There will be NO PAYMENTS accepted at any golf course.   Booking at this time is for Mercer County card holders only,  NON-RESIDENTS CANNOT book at this time. If you book for 2 golfers, you will be charged for 2 players at the time of securing your time. It is not ideal, but it is the best way to handle it on the system and assures you of playing with your partner.  No Refunds. All updated card holders will pay Resident Senior rates. Gift Cards CANNOT be used as a form of payment during Phase 1. Walking only. NO CART Rentals during Phase 1. All Golfers must use safe distancing rules and stay at least 6 feet from each other at all times prior to and on the course. No gathering in groups or tailgating in the parking lot before or after your round will be permitted. We prefer you stay in your car until 7-10 minutes before your tee time and go straight to your car when finished with your round. We recommend all wear face coverings. Do not touch flagstick. No rakes in bunkers, use foot to rake after a shot. No Drinking water will be provided on the course. Plan accordingly. According to Governor’s Executive order: Closure of all golf buildings and amenities will keep the grill rooms and bars closed until further notice. No alcoholic beverages permitted on premises. We will proceed into Phase 2 as soon we set up proper safety protocols for players and staff. The normal golf amenities will be made available as soon as safely possible.  (Carts, pro shops, bathrooms) Please be patient as we slowly get back to normal operating amenities and procedures. Lastly for those County Residents that have not updated their Golf Cards, you can do so on our website. www.golfmercercounty.com/shop/    **When purchasing your 2020 memberships, please include your member ID number in the NOTES field. Please note that our online store for updating memberships is not linked to our POS and golfer data base. All membership updates need to be updated manually.  We will work tonight and tomorrow morning prior to 12:00pm to get all the cards updated so that you can be able to book and pre-pay for the County Rate.  Please be patient while we update all on-line purchases tonight or tomorrow.
