The Meadows Texas does not use the Meadows model and does not treat for truma. P.T.S.D. or any other underlying problems. There were no planed activities other than most of the afternoon was spent at the gym. It is understaffed and more time is left up to group therapy. There was no dietitian or personal trainers at this facility. One on one therapy is limited to once a week if you're lucky. Due COVID there was no family visitation and phone calls are limited to three times a week for ten minutes only. The food was good and the cafeteria staff were excellent. Rooms were clean but no private rooms. I would not recommend this facility to anyone seeking treatment for anything other than alcohol addiction.

The Meadows treatment center in Wickenburg Arizona changed my life when I went in 2016! Fast forward to 2020 I’m getting my masters degree in counseling and want to work at this treatment center when I graduate (I live in San Antonio) . I can’t wait ! Keep changing lives ! I hope you hire me :)

Serenity View a Meadows Behavioral Healthcare program is not only a beautiful serene environment led by compassionate dedicated highly skilled professionals but also has incorporated the benefit and expertise of The Meadows model in addressing trauma and the underlying issues underneath substance use. Every time I am on campus and get to spend time with the team, see the growth of the patients and hear the miracles I walk away inspired! It is an honor to walk alongside the dedicated and compassionate team who's calling is to lean in and help those of us during our hardest days

My former husband is receiving the best care ever. He’s detoxed several times, but this is the only place he’s been that’s challenging his brilliant mind. He’s at peace and is doing the work needed to save his life, literally. Our daughter and I have visited him on the visitation days and they’re loving, yet strict which is exactly what it takes to heal him from the inside out. Page 417 in the Big Book
