I absolutely loved Brianna!! She gave me the best cut I have ever had. She was meticulous and totally on point with my color and she will be my hairstylist moving forward!
At this point in time, with businesses just reopening, you have to think twice about where you are going. This is not the case with John Bacon Salon - their staff is fully on-board to make it a safe experience. When John personally called me to give me a heads up on the status of re-opening, I had no second thoughts about booking a long-awaited appointment for color and cut with him. When the receptionist, Jessica, called to confirm the appointment, she went over the precautions. I won’t list them all. You can find them on their website. They went above and beyond the requirements – including contactless payment. I have been going to John Bacon Salon for over 20 years. They always go above and beyond to make you feel special, and John always delivers a great cut and color! The entire staff is second to none.
I had a terrible experience in the salon. I had long curly hair and I wanted to go short. The stylist did not know how to cut/ style my hair and I ended up having a weird pyramid shaped haircut. Flat at the top and frayed and wide at the bottom. I would not recommend this salon to anyone with curly hair! However, to be fair, when I called them a couple of days later saying I did not like the haircut, they did offer to fix it but I did not want to go in there again since my hair was already short and I did not want to risk getting a bad haircut on an already short hair!! Maybe they are good with straighter hair? I don't know. But would not recommend for people with curly hair! There are a lot of affordable curly hair salons out there!
I was in town for vacation and although I am typically very picky and nervous about getting my hair done by new people (I have a color treated, curly mane), I took a risk because I was in great need of a haircut and booked a last minute appointment with stylist John DeVault. The secretary was very accommodating and encouraging of my last minute booking and John did a fantastic job in half the time I’ve taken for other appointments! He achieved the exact color and cut I was hoping for. Highly recommend! Thank you John!
