I am really surprised how this place didn’t pop up as one of the top restaurants in Santiago. This place is beautiful! The service is excellent! They went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied and took great pride in explaining all the different items we got. The Chharqu Room’s decor is truly amazing! I have tried a few tasting menus around the world and this by far, is definitely on my top 3 list. They also have a good vegetarian option as well!

An incredible dining experience of bite size portions of Chilean traditional foods presented on platters. All can be enjoyed with your hands which adds to the unique dining. Very reasonably priced for a fine dining experience of 20 menu items

I wish we had more stomach compartments to try more dishes! It's very different experience from all the other dining outings we had while in Santiago. This restaurant features more traditional dishes from different regions of Chile. Everything tasted amazing! I love the starters they give you at the beginning! Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area.

Very original concept and tasty food. There is a vegetarian option available, however there are no vegan options on the menu. They had to fix me a plate of vegetables which was really good, but other than that there are (again) no vegan options available (which is a bummer).

A must in Santiago, great food, with history, explanation for each food and a great environment. Best food experience in Chile so far.

Cocina inspirada en los pueblos originarios. Cuisine inspired by the native Chilean people. Not sure if that is something good by itself but they have definitely made it to be a great eating experience. It is recommended to take the 'tasting menu' where many different dishes are prepared, all of them really special on its own. Even if not all dishes will probably delight almost all of them are different and new experience. Definitely an innovative and worth trying.

If you want a culinary tour of Chile and it’s history don’t miss the tasting menu. It’s beautifully prepared and presented. The flavors dance in your mouth! Each item is just a couple bites so very manageable for a single diner. Calm and tropical space with historic and natural design elements. Staff is devoted to the concept and make your visit a pleasure
