Staff is always super friendly and helpful. I use them for developing film and it is always reliable. I’ve bought two really good condition film cameras from them and the staff has gone out of their way to explain all the camera functions before I leave the store. The student discount is just a cherry on top of everything else!

I have NEVER been disappointed as a customer of Allen's camera, regardless of the location I've visited. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. If there's anything they DON'T know, they don't hesitate to find out for you. They also have a wide array of products to choose from and are always looking for suggestions on new products to stock. Everyone is so personable and you never feel like they're just trying to hurry you through the checkout process. They're much more interested in actually developing relationships with their customers and it's not uncommon for them to greet customers by name or ask new customers about the type of photography they do or if they're working on a cool project. My favorite thing about Allen's is that they never pressure customers into making unnecessary purchases. Countless times, I've seen other customers come in who aren't as knowledgeable about what they need and instead of taking advantage of their wallets, the staff always ask what the customers are trying to achieve. Then, they make recommendations that actually help customers reach their photography goals. This business honestly cares about its customers and does an excellent job proving this.
