My husband and I visited Insomnia on 4/20, when they did a free cookie give away in celebration. Though we didn't honor the "holiday," we did drive down from Salt Lake City & it wasn't a disappointment. They're open late, which means you can avoid traffic, and they keep the cookies warm always. We each got one free cookie, and selected a couple other of the traditional cookies. We got chocolate mint, peanut butter, sugar, and white chocolate macadamia. The mint was delicious, not too rich but very chocolate with the perfect amount of mint. I will say my favorite was buy far the peanut butter. I don't like gooey cookies but this one was warm, and soft, know the difference! It broke apart in my mouth and the chips of peanut butter melted fast on my tongue. It tasted like real, delicious peanut butter. It was as if the peanut butter went to heaven and became an angel. That angel was the cookie I ate.

Went to get the free cookies we were offered as new move ins to the area...great strategy. Awesome for free but pricey otherwise. 9:50 for 6 cookies that taste not a lot different then a subway cookie..also had the brownie , very crumbly and not really the taste I like for a brownie. The bonus I guess for this area is deliveries til 3am.
OVERVIEW - 4.5 My wife sent me here on a strong craving. LOCATION - 5 It took me a few minutes to find this place with my GPS, as I was trying to get here on my own instinct. Other than that it wasn't too hard to find it. PRICE - 3 I wasn't too fond on the prices of the cookies, they were a little pricey for my liking especially considering their sizes. PRODUCTS/SERVICES - 5 The cookies that I chose seemed rather delicious. I selected a double chocolate chunk and it was indeed delicious, but once again thought it was over-priced. POINTERS/PERKS - N/A Not sure what the pointers or perks would be but I am sure there'd have to be a few. EMPLOYEES - 5 The young lady that helped me on the register was kind and all, no complaints.
If you enjoy a soft, gooey cookie, you'll enjoy Insomnia Cookies. My wife and I went on 4/20 for the free cookie promotion and ended up buying a couple more cookies because they were so good. The lady working there was real nice, too. This was our first time at Insomnia Cookies and we'll definitely be back next time we're in Provo.
We finally tried this place tonight. I got the double chocolate chunk cookie and loved it. We also tried the ice cream cookie sandwich and it was pretty good! The cookies here are warm and just like you remember from your childhood. If you want a classic cookie, I would recommend Insomnia Cookies if you’re not in the mood for an over the top cookie from Chip or Crumbl.
I appreciate the effort, but these honestly taste like cookies bought from the store and warmed up. Honestly nothing really special about them. I went here on New Year because they Crumbl and Chip were closed, I now regret it. 3 of my cookies were in very odd shapes and more like a biscuit than a cookie. Flavor wise, not impressed.
first time there never going back. I went there around 10:30 last night and the customer service was awful the girl who was in the front had an awful attitude whenever we had a question and she was eating snacks in the back before attending to us and when she scooped out ice cream she hadn’t washed her hand or used gloves. she also had headphones and the keys from around her neck were in the ice cream containers whenever she’d lean forward to scoop out our ice cream. with serious illnesses going around, right now is NOT the time not to be using proper food handling. WASH YOUR HANDS PLEASE. not to mention the cookies are basically store bought ones. pretty disappointed tbh. \u200d️
I was so excited to find a cookie place open late and offering a gluten free option. And get this guys! They DELIVER! The only thing I would suggest is that they have more gluten free options. Since they only have the chocolate chip. Which is super yummy.
