Timetables often don't match up with reality especially as the drivers seem to run the service when they want to, if even at all I question, absolute pathetic excuse for a company, seen less cowboys in a John Wayne film. The fact that pretty much the only reviews higher than 2 stars are fake accounts and the owner says all you need to know. Now going by the name Rural Link in case anybody gets caught out by them

As Principal Social Inclusion Policy Officer at Northumberland County Council, I regularly oversee service performance levels across contracted routes in Northumberland. Not only am I significantly impressed by the major improvements to contracted services following PCLs takeover, I am also delighted PCL can deliver and invest, when budget cuts to subsides have resulted in rationalization to services. Within the Northumberland National Park, PCL have been very clear of their compassionate approach to the environment, not only did PCL introduce Modern-environmental friendly buses, they introduced more services to the National Park, opening up employment opportunities, aswell as attracting Northumberland as a major attraction. I must give my gratitude to PCL, as without their services many of the vulnerable, disabled and elderly would be left isolated in their homes, unable to access employment opportunities, local faciltys and health care. I reccomend all potential passengers to travel with PCL, and support local establishments within Northumberland and the National Park. Rude drivers. Terminating Short of routes and my friend a few weeks back had a driver who had headphones on in one ear

They have rude drivers. Yesterday me and my freind were out on the bus and decided to catch the 11:40 T1C and the driver was talking to us like muck when I asked him if they accepted explorers and we told him we were doing a a full return trip on the same bus and we turned up 15 minutes early so we went to Newcastle on the Arriva X14 instead, I will not ever use them unless I have to. They run viechles with out tax. They have unpresentable buses. The manager recruits drivers by simply posting on Facebook 'pcv drivers required'. And why the heck has the manager gave his own company a good review on here? To make his company look good?

Amazing Company with the best drivers in the bus industry, posh buses with smart ticketing faciltys, extremely scenic routes that serve the local community of Northumberland.

Rude drivers, running minibuses which aren't accessible to prams, constant early running (up to 30 minutes early on certain routes). Filthy buses, clueless drivers and no clarity on ticket prices. PCL Travel/Rural Link aren't a company to rely on. Edit - 01/2019 in response to Peter... why on earth are you giving your own company a 5 star review? Delusional...

I went to catch the 1605 M1 bus from Rothbury to Morpeth on Wednesday January 18th. The time for this bus on other days is 1555 but ten minutes later on Wednesdays. At 1555 the 15 to Alnwick came in followed by the M1. As I walked across the road to the stop, the 15 moved off. I thought the M1 was going to pull forward to the bus stop but he just closed the doors and drove off well before four o'clock. Presumably the driver had forgotten it was Wednesday but the result was that I, and a young woman who also wanted to catch it, had to wait until the X14 at 1705. Please make sure the driver is aware of the change in timetable. I caught the M1 to Rothbury in the morning, a very welcome replacement for the discontinued Arriva bus but, so far, 5fifty percent of my experience with PCL buses has been totally unsatisfactory.
