I would like to thank everyone at confetti and lace for making my experience of wedding dress shopping so relaxed and easy. I was very worried and nervous to even try on wedding dresses as I’m a plus size lady and I thought what if they don’t have anything that will fit me? What if I feel so self conscious of petite brides at the side of me trying wedding dresses on? I didn’t feel anything like that, I honestly felt like I was the only person in the shop. We were greeted by the lovely ladies in the shop and I had daisy look after me. Me , my mum , sister and cousin had a look through the dresses and picked a few out what we liked and one of the lovely ladies Karen was picking some dresses out for another customer and actually pointed to a dress and said oh I think that one would look lovely on you. I had about 5 dresses to try on , the one Karen actually picked out I tried on first and I didn’t think suited me at first but it started to really grow on me, tried the others on and nothing compared to that one.. the more I looked in the mirror the more I loved the dress .. so I said yes to the dress. The ladies at the shop were very easy to deal with and kept in constant contact each time I made a payment to them for my gown.. then with all the coronavirus pandemic going on the shop had to shut but again they kept in regular contact with me to let me know when my dress was due to arrive in store. Unfortunately I’ve had to move my wedding date but today I’ve just picked my dress up and it is absolutely perfect, fitted lovely. I really cannot wait to have my dress on when my new wedding date finally comes round in November. Once again thank you to everyone at confetti and lace, you all are absolutely fab at your job and thank you so much for making me feel at ease and like a million dollars!

A lovely dress shop with kind, caring staff. Jane, the owner, was just lovely and couldn’t do enough for me. I didn’t find my dream dress here but the experience was lovely. It was a welcoming environment for my bridal party and me. I only dropped 1 star just because I felt they could’ve had a wider range of designers to try on but I would recommend them. Thank you

I found my dress yesterday with the help of Leah and Jane. I can not recommend this place enough, they were so helpful and friendly and not only made me feel special but also made a fuss of my mum as it was her birthday! I tried on loads of beautiful dresses as there was such a variety and found my perfect dress. Thank you so much ladies for a wonderful experience x

This is such a lovely boutique! The bridal fitters were all lovely, and really helpful. It was a different set up to any of the shops I'd been before where the dresses were all lined up in size order which was great, and they had plenty of plus size dresses as well - a nice variety. You got tags to place on dresses so i let my entourage help me pick. I usually fit into size 12/14 samples and was then pinned in so i tried on a variety of dresses. The only downside here was that rather than being pinned in to the dresses which were a little smaller, like i had in the 7 other dress shops i had been in, the bridal fitter just held the dress for me at the back - it just felt a little strange as I couldn't really walk around in it. Other than that, I really liked the vibe in there, just unfortunately I wasn't to find my dress there
