After a full service a fault occurred and they would not return to find the cause without charging a call out charge. Very bad practise. Very disappointed.

The operatives are superb - I had had 18 years faultless service - but the company is let down by its administration. On the nineteenth year I paid the annual premium the day it was requested, but they allocated a date for the service call-out that was a full five weeks after my payment. In vain did I point out two salient facts: I was leaving the country for one-and-a-half months on the day I had been allocated for the service; and that on the service a year previously the engineer had pointed out that I would be needing a new battery on his next visit. They were inflexible, so I cancelled the contract and asked for the return of my premium. Gemma told me it takes a week to ten days for a BACS to become effective. This was a patent untruth, said my bank manager. It never takes more than three hours. I threatened to write to the private address of the company owner - it’s available online - and the money arrived in my account that same day. Believe me, the less you have to deal with those who undertake the administration, the happier you will be!
Been using Kingsley Security for nearly 10 years now, have to say the service we receive is excellent, and the annual service is done on time with a friendly telephone call from the office, we find that they are always willing to help and their staff are very polite and courteous when ever we call them with any issues we may have. A great & reliable company to deal with. Would always recommend.
We have been using Kingsley to service our alarm system for many years. We have always found them to be very friendly and professional, with the bonus that they do not charge the earth.
Do not use this company! We paid 75 per year for 5 years in annual servicing. During the last service our battery wasn’t changed even though it only had 9 months life date on it! When we had to turn off the power to the house for building work, the battery drained and didn’t recharge when power turned back on. This cause the alarm to continually sound, meaning we had to call Kinsley out. We were changed 95 call out and to replace the battery (which should have been done during servicing) when I called to ask about what is covered in a service. I was confronted by a very hostile lady, as soon as she realised I didn’t agree in having to pay for their call out to replace a battery which should have been replaced 3 months ago during the service, she became very rude and starting to insult my intelligence. She tried every excuse possible. Blaming the builders for turning off the power!!! This is what the battery is there for. The lady became very rude towards me, saying I am not talking to you because you have no idea what I am talking about, you don’t understand about alarms. Then going on to say you need to get another job in alarms because you think you know everything! When I politely told her I thought she was being very rude, she hung up! I tried to call back but she wouldn’t pick the phone up! Call that business?? Don’t know who the woman was but if not the owner she needs sacking, if you are the owner you seriously need to learn some manners!
