These arranged our sons funeral, we are originally from pudsey but have moved away ,out children stil reside in pudsey & we decided to keep it that way, the only good thing they did was make our son look beautiful as himself, as for everythig else it was all false promises ,,we did all the running aviuy all we wanted in return was collecting as promised from the hotel 10 minutes away from the funeral directors which we were setting off from!! They went back on their world and we had to get a taxi!! They had orders if services made up then told us one of the songs listed in their for entrance had no copy rights so had to chose another song ! We purchase a half family plot with their word it woukd hold up to 10 ashes ,was then told it was 6 only for me to find out its actually only 4 when theres 6 of us !! We have recently lost another son I would not use them again ,its very upsetting & disappointing, we paid for a oak urn and I was told we could collect my sons ashes ,whcub were actually in a black cardboard box from the crematorium so I had to ring head office to get them to make the urn so that we could have our son in something fitting until the plot was ready ,its been constant upset for us & let downs ,lies etc if you decide to use these naked sure you get everything in writing

It is now almost two years since my father died Edward Brook. Since this time i have met with people who have arranged funerals NOT with yourselves I feel annoyed that although it was agreed that the payment would be arranged AFTER the funeral when a member of your team visited with me and dad exactly the opposite happened.Everyone I have spoken to who have arranged funerals with other funeral directors have paid afterwards when the insurance money had arrived. We felt bullied into getting the money together prior to dads funeral when I think his name Stephen Calvert? visited us to make arrangements. The four of us (me my husband my daughter and her husband) were told in no uncertain terms that it HAD to be paid with the suggestion that if we couldnt come up with the money my dad would have to have a council funeral. All four of us felt violated by this suggestion also Mr Calvert? seemed to be annoyed that when asking us if dad had savings (which he hadnt) we replied no. We had to pull together with credit cards to avoid MY dad having what would be called a paupers funeral. My dad agreed to your funeral services because his neighbour Joe McLaughlin said he was a friend of yours my dad had Co-op insurance and was going to arrange with them but Joe convinced us that you would be better. I regret going with Joes suggestion it would have made our time of sadness easier to cope with. We feel angry that we were made to feel humiliated.I send this message now two years on because we know people who have had to arrange funerals over the past two years. I would certainly NOT recommend you to anyone.
