I’m fussy with fish n chip shops especially as I’m from the south coast where fresh fish is of high standard. I have to say, I don’t usually write reviews on here, this is a very good fish n chip shop. I enjoyed my battered haddock and also my battered sausage. The batter is light n crispy and not greasy. The fish and sausage were of good quality. I’d highly recommend this fish n chip shop thank you

The bearded sailor was quite funny entranced. You have to try it yourself. Very small but functional. We gone, seat down and have a look at the fish & chips menu. Orders came moderately quickly. However, the waitress kept bringing the wrong orders; from drink to bill. Wow :-) The fishes were ok. The was this regular Fisk & Chips. Take a look at the photo.
Yummy food! The sausages are great! The fish and chips are amazing! The kids portions (the shoal) is perfect... The chips are actually full chips that are cooked unlike the scrap end undercooked ones you get from a certain award winning chippy in farsley... Were willing to go the extra mile (literally) for these!
Sells an amazing range of seafood which you don't normally see in a high street chippy.
I've been to the Bearded Sailor for fish and chips twice now for a sit down family meal. Both times it's been fantastic. Great atmosphere, surroundings and people, and lovely fish and chips. Would highly recommend.
