We live in Sheffield and my dad was staying with us in what turned out to be his final month of life. His wishes were that he wanted to be cremated in his home town of Leeds. We asked my uncle and a friend of ours who both live in Leeds to recommend someone to handle the funeral arrangements. Both recommended Jayne and from the first minute we met with her we realised we had made the right choice. Both myself and my husband are in our 60’s and my dad was the first of our parents to leave us so we hadn’t a clue where to start. Jayne immediately put us at ease, talking us through the process and said she would make the arrangements with the Crematorium and the Church of which my dad was a regular visitor. When it came to the flowers and the catering Jayne provided us with quality people she had previously dealt with. Once we had made our decision Jayne kindly offered to take ownership and sort them to save us making numerous trips up and down the M1. On the day the whole team were superb, caring for our every need and being there for me when I found the proceedings too hard. The keepsakes she passed to me on the day had me in tears and said everything about Jayne. I can’t thank her enough for looking after my dad and for playing a huge part in making the day a special one. Beverley Fox

The one thing you want for the person you have lost is to give them a lovely funeral, Jayne E Verity funeral services did just that. Jayne thinks of everything, her lovely calm manner puts you completely at ease to ensure the day goes well. They are so professional and yet still manage to be a caring family friendly service. Her prices are incredibly competitive, she managed to give us a great funeral and worked with us around our budget, which was so helpful. Her team and extended team of people just made the whole day very special. Jo Jarvis who was the celebrant for the funeral was wonderful. Jaynes function rooms were fantastic, the food and service was lovely. We can now relax knowing we gave my sister-in-law the send off she deserved. Thank you Jayne, and team, you were incredible.
