Awful. Ordered chips and curry sauce and sweet/sour king prawn and boiled rice. Chips had a deep fried , black 'something' in them along with two lovely, long black human hairs. The king prawn dish was bearly warm and could have been responsible for multiple toilet trips the next day (felt really bad). Never undercook fish dishes.. Never again.
Mr and Mrs Wan are always friendly and their food has definitely got loads better over the last year. Brilliant local Chinese takeway.
Im not sure Michelle fully understands the review process... Three separate dining experiences resulting in you leaving nearly all of your meals would not constitute a "Good" review! I have lived in Calverley for the last 34 years and have not, in all that time, had a bad takeaway from Wan's! Mr and Mrs Wan (and now family) are always friendly and cook the food to order. Reading Michelle's review has made me order some food from them tonight to make sure I am not losing the plot.... Having said that, if the food tonight is as bad as Michelle is suggesting, I would consider it a first and it wouldn't stop me from using them again!
Not really very good, if I'm honest nothing tastes fresh and I would avoid of possible.
Sorry but this was the worst food I've ever had from a Chinese takeaway. I won't be returning.
