Shopped here on 2nd September for uniform. Jumper out of stock so ordered and paid for. Received a call in October to advise it won't be available until November. Call received in November to say not available till Jan would I like a refund!? Meanwhile kids at school with no jumper in winter. Not sure why its taking 5 month to put a jumper under a sewing machine and stitch a logo on. They know people need uniform for September but lots of out of stock things. Terrible customer service, one member of staff kept putting both her arms in her skirt while serving and swinging them around wafting her skirt. Very odd behaviour. Whole place is a shambles.

I noticed a new picture on the Uniformity schoolwear page and went to check it out today 30/5/18 Whitaker’s schoolwear have indeed taken over the business and is trading from the same premises. The shop has had an entire remodel and upgrade to modernise it and it’s more open inside than before . All the schools listed before are still catered for and Whitaker’s has a good website so you can check what your requirements are . The phone number remains the same . At the moment the shop is not wheelchair accessible but I have been informed that the new owners will be looking into providing wheelchair access .

Made an appointment in early August , was kept waiting outside in the rain so not a great start but some what understandable . No customer service skills what so ever. Didn't have an item in stock but advised if I paid for it now (4th Aug) I would have it delivered by 25th August. I didnt have the greatest of confidence at the time that this would happen but gave them the benefit of the doubt. Here I am on 3rd Sep, not only do I not have the item, I have had no communication. The phone rings out until you get a message saying you cannot leave a message. Have tried emailing via the website , no response. Frustrated that I now have to physically go to the shop now to resolve this.

Customer Service is disgusting well it was from the \Manger\ the lady that wears glasses been served from a different staff member before and she was much better. Went in as I needed to refund jumpers and P.E kit that I bough for my sister as she wasn't happy with the quality and the colour looked faded. Told the arrogant Manager that it is damaged I have the rights to have full refund the colour of the P.E kit also faded and she won't give me a refund cause it been over 28 days, I explained to over the phone when I received the items that they are so far out and I don't have time to come so disgusted with the service and quality of uniform spent over 80, would not recommend shop here at all! I've attached picture so you can see where there is a pull and the jumpers have gone bubbly and my sisters child hasn't even worn it as she starts Year 7 in September the ignorant women had the cheek to say its not and you can clearly see there jumper has not been stitched properly!

What an horrible experience i had in this shop. I had made an appointment to be then told i had to stand outside with my 2 children in the rain i had asked a memeber of staff if we could just stand inside a little bit the gentlemen said yes. Then this women (staff) came over and shouted at the gentlemen and told him not to let anybody else in and was shouting all sorts at him in front of the customers then told me to stand outside the shop i told her she could not speak to staff like that im front of customers and she more or less said she could! Personally my thought about the shop is aslong as they gettin their money they are not bothered how they speak to STAFF and CUSTOMERS.
