Nice park.. Entry fee 20 for adults and 10 for kids There is a aquarium inside the park and the entrance fee for that is 10 for adults and 5 for kids.. There you can see many specious of fish,tortoise etc., Park needs much more maintenance and trees, plants must be named and displayed in the board to know their details. Nice place to beat the heat after visiting the beach.

Part of the garden is well maintained. The aquarium is very good. There was no lotus in the lotus-pond. The toy train was not in operation. However I enjoyed the garden with my daughter and grand- children.

Nice location and accessibility. But its just a well maintained park rather than a botanical garden. Still a nice spot for the weekend family outings. Ticket is 20 for adults. Food is not allowed. There is a refreshment stall inside the park that offers tea and snacks at a reasonable price.

Nice place for children and elder people's. Especially train (kids) travel is enjoyable. You can see fish aquarium at last. You can stay for half day to cover the garden

It is not maintained properly. Toy train and music fountain works only on weekends and national holidays.

Somewhat ok for spend 3 to 4 hours. There is nothing much, but some kids play and site seeing are there. Ticket cost very low only. its about 30 rs for entrance. Inside there is a fish aquarium. Need additional ticket for this. its about 20 rs. Overall rating 4/5. Added some photos of kids activities and site seeing.

Pondicherry Botanical Garden Botanical Garden Pondicherry, Among the various famous Pondicherry sightseeing places, the Botanical Garden is a must-see for anyone on their Pondicherry trip. This incredible garden is well-maintained and is home to several exotic plant species that the French colonists brought and nurtured here. Overall, one can find close to 1500 or more plant species here. A neat placard is put up against each plant with its scientific and general name mentioned to educate tourists about them. The garden also has an aquarium with a wide variety of aquatic species that one can visit while exploring this place. Highly recommended if you love plants and enjoy visiting such gardens. Timings: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Entry Fee: Rs10 for Adults and Rs5 for children
