Impressively maintained and recorded museum dedicated for the Pondicherry Police. I wish to see the mechanical clock fully restored to a working condition.

It's well maintained,and gives the glimpse of the artilleries used, their weapons, uniforms etc. It's very close to the Rock beach, French War Memorial.
it is the first police museum in india. (as per receptionist). great place to see the history of Pondicherry police and their unique dressing style.
Hardly one come across police muesum in our nation. At least for me that's true. Free entry. You get to see weapons/attires being used since frenchmen ruled. Hardly it takes 5/10 minutes of time.
Unique one !! For the first time I have visited police museum and witnessed the French arms and ammunitions.
Awesome location. Opposite to the railway station. Exhibits are super.
