Not worth it... not very well maintained, expected more of puducherry history but was disappointed. Ticket charge is Rs.10 which is reasonable. Avoid unless you have nothing else to do

Great place to learn about History of Pondicherry. Various historical items are also in display. Dedicated section for various minerals and ores is also appreciable. Located in heart of White-Town, next to Bharthi Park. Few sections need refresh and cleaning. There is separate room/hall which display portraits and paintings of various artists. Overall a good learning place.
Amazing collection. They have coins and clay materials, weapons - swords, rifles. Greatly maintained. Must visit if you are interested in historical monuments. And the ticket is just Rs.10/-.
It's is arcological place we can find all ancient things mainly focused on French people used things..Nice places to visit. Social distance is maintained. One thing they have not took the visitors name and phone number on the safety measure on this pandemic.
It’s a very simple, pleasant museum with varied things from historical currencies, ammunitions, transportation, to stones and sands and even little bit history of Pondicherry. It’s a sweet place. Needs 1-2 hrs to go around.
Pondicherry Museum: Pondicherry Museum Deep dive into the historical past and witness the display of an excellent collection of artefacts and beautifully carved bronze statues of the Chola and Pallava empires in the Pondicherry Museum. The museum is renowned for its collection of 81 bronze statues – one of the largest collections from the Chola Dynasty – and also houses the artefacts from Arikamedu that were discovered during various excavations performed here. One of the top places to see in Pondicherry, this museum would easily require more than 2 hours of your time if you love to explore every bit of it. Timings: 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM Entry Fee: Rs10 for adults; Rs5 for kids; Rs50 for Foreigners
