As a visitor from England this place came highly recommended from the manager of the accommodation I was at. However the conduct of the therapists giving the treatment highly appaulled me. Without going into too much detail, whilst I was showering off the heavily applied oil, the water cut off so I was left still unfinished, as one usually locks themselves in whilst using private facilities, I found myself locked in from the outside, I began banging on the door & explained that there was no water. Afterwards I asked the receptionist to explain such an unusual procedure & was told it was for my safety...errr EXCUSE ME!!!! I do not consider that safety, If anything it is the complete opposite. If I want to be safe I simply lock myself in & not find that I have been locked in!!! The premises described as an ayurvedic hospital was dilapidated & unhygienic It did not have the clinical presence of a hospital & the so called physiotherapists just stood there rudely staring at me whilst I was trying to get dressed with no preservation of modesty. To top that I was also insulted describing me, in not so many words as fastidious. Any sane person would agree with me that being locked into the shower room is not considered normal.
