Passenger trains and chennai trains stop here. No stopping for Express trains.

Looks very tiny station. Doesn't have any seating in platform. Only one shelter was located in ticket counter. Limited number of trains only moves from here. (Origin - Pondicherry (PDY)) Chennai Egmore (MS) , Villupuram (VM) , Tirupati (TPTY) trains only stops here. You can get old model tickets here. You can also view that model below. ( Photo attached ). This station was located nearby National Highway (NH332). Pondicherry bus stand was around 6 Kms from here.

Single platforms and single track and that too short platform. For long train, last 3 r 4 compartments are not having platform to get down. Platform ticket is not required. When i asked for paltfrom ticket in counter they told no need
