Very clean and silent railway station. Located 2kms away from main city. Small station but having access to many main cities from this railways. Autos are there to transit. But buses are not there. Sometimes based on train arrivals, buses are allowed. Need to consider those.

So far the boring railway station ever visited... Doesn't looks like a districts railway station.. suburban railway stations looks better than this.. no shops... No.. not even one.. then one and only bike parking that rarely works.. I came in Chennai to Pudukkottai train and reached Pudukkottai at around 12.00 AM went to take my bike out from parking.. shouted and tried to wake up the people there.. None responded..I took my bike out and came home... They didn't even know..so please think about the safety of your vehicle there... Better go by bus .. that's better option than train in pudukkottai

Calm place for reading. Very less number of trains are passing this station. ( Shortest rail route connecting south and north, laid during British rule, District Headquarters, Historic places, Ancient temples & tourism spots, Pudukkottai is a Province before Independence.

Less number of trains due to Corona. It's a best place to study, exercise and walking. Peaceful environment. I love it always
