I called a couple of times in order to get my question answered. The receptionist as well as the lady that called in response to my application were very rude. It was as though they either didn't have the time to respond, were bothered by my asking questions or simply didn't want to respond. Definitely got the feeling of being placed \below\ in reaching out for an answer. Trust me ladies, it's already a humbling and difficult task to even ask for help at any point in my life. However, I'd like to think that given the current worldly events you'd be able to find it in you to be a little kinder... A little warmer. Under no circumstances is it ever okay to not even see a human being period but to not try to even listen to them in a time of need is truly beyond me.

If I could give no stars I would this place and it’s manager is a joke period! I took an hour to fill out my LEAP application and bring to catholic charities physically..... The employee at the door took my application looked at it and said I was missing the second part of LEAP application which I took from her and filled out. (Don’t know why she didn’t give it to me when I picked up the first part of the application) There was no one at the door when I returned minutes later to turn it in. Some lady inside who looked lost told me to just drop it in the slot....So I dropped it in the mail slot I called LEAP to check my application they said they never received it. Called catholic charities for the manager to tell me it was my fault it wasn’t filled out all the way and they called me on the 4th to tell me..... she talked over me and didn’t let me finish what I had to say....why don’t I have a missed call? Why don’t I have a voicemail asking to return their call? Is someone’s electricity getting cut off not important to them? Why was there not someone at the door checking the applications to ensure they were all the way filled out before accepting them? Why is this place having such a hard time being professional? Needless to say I didn’t get an answer to any of these questions plus she could not justify why a voicemail wasn’t left. Pure laziness and lack of responsibility you probably shouldn’t run an organization for people who need help if you have no intention of actually helping. So now due to CATHOLIC CHARITIES MISTAKE I am looking at a disconnect on my electric in 48 hrs although my application was turned in 02/24/2021. Thank you catholic charities for being the worst and most embarrassing organization I’ve ever had to deal with I hope they don’t actually pay you people it would be a waste.
