My grandfather recently moved into this assisted living. I called to check on him a couple of days ago and he raved about how kind and caring the staff are. He also says the food is excellent. I am impressed with how welcome the staff and owners have made him feel

I worked here and they only have 2 people on staff for care and qmap on each shift. And they work 12 hr shifts. Plus they have the caregiver at night wash all the dishes and clean the kitchen from that day plus clean and set the dinning room. Then hold you checks for odd reasons. If i could give it a lesser stars i would. Save you self the pain dont work here.i wish it was a better work plce i really do. The residents are so sweet and caring. Plus most of the staff is related in one way or another. So their is alot of favoritism.

Wonderful place!! Wonderful kind people who go above and beyond to make sure their clients are safe. I know my mom is safe there and I love that it is an apartment environment and not like a nursing home. My mom has friends there she gets to have her personal stuff there so she feels she is at home. Residents even get to have pets. There are three sweet dogs that live there . Just seeing them is encouraging and lifts even my spirits as a visitor. I went to see my mom the other day and she was talking to the dogs and they seemed to be standing in line to be brushed. The food is high quality and my mom loves the coffee too. So grateful for a safe place for my mom to proceed forward in her life.

This is one of the most unprofessional institutions I have ever come across. In dealing with the owner, JJ to the so called director Denise, and some of the staff: they are biased, rude, unprofessional and unconcerned as to the needs of the residents or family members. They have gone out of their way to ensure that this has NOT been a pleasant experience for all involved. They are profit driven and have no true interest for the resident or the family, other than their bottom line. In situations where they should have acted professional, neutral and in the best interest of the resident, they have taken sides on family issues and have actually split family members apart causing unneeded stress and heartache to the resident. They have also caused more hardship on an already stressful situation. Talking to JJ, Denise and staff has been a complete disaster either due to lack of education or complete incompetence on their part. They have made false promises and have not taken all facts into consideration before acting in a VERY unprofessional manner. I WOULD HIGHLY ADVISE ANYONE NOT TO SUPPORT OR PATRONAGE THIS INSTITUTION... AND TO DO A THOROUGH BACK GROUND CHECK AND GATHER AS MUCH INFORMATION ABOUT HEATHERWOOD VILLAGE BEFORE MAKING A DECISION…
