If I could I would give this place -5 stars. A few years ago I took my son in. I bought him glasses and got a warranty on them because he was 8 and why wouldn't I. Well a couple of months after getting the glasses my son broke part of the frame so I called in to ask about repairs, I dont remember her name but the lady that is always there told me that I did not get a warranty. After arguing back and forth for a few minutes she finally agreed that I did in fact get the warranty. They sent the glasses off and said they would be back in about a week. Well one week went by and nothing so I called and was reassured that they should be back soon and that I would get a phone call. That was the case for 3 weeks, finally I was told that his lense got broken when they were fixing the frame so it was going to be a few more days until we would get them back. Finally we were able to pick them up. About 1 month later his frame broke again in the same exact spot. Again I called, argued about the warranty and was told that because I used private insurance I automatically opted out of a warranty. I told them to lose my number and that we will never go there again. Went to Rocky Mountain eye center and they took really good care of us. Been going there ever since and every couple of months JC Penny optical calls to "remind" me that I haven't been there to get my eyes checked for a while. Don't go to the place it is awful.

Customer service is seriously lacking. My daughter's glasses were made incorrectly. So they sent them back saying they would expedite them. A week later we inquired where the glasses were. We were told it would be another 5 days! Then I got a phone call a few hours later saying they would be in sooner. But sure enough, it actually took 2 weeks to get the glasses back! And then when I went to pick them up I got attitude from the employee in front of another customer. I had to finally speak up and ask for the glasses after having left for 20 minutes (per her suggestion since she was helping someone else) and then coming back to her helping a different customer, to then be ignored by this same employee. She replied that I should have said something. Don't you think part of your job is to great people as they walk into your store and ask how you can help them? And I said I was there to just pick up glasses the first time I walked in. How hard was it to stop what you were doing for 30 seconds to hand them to me? So rude! We'll never go back.

I purchased a Buy one Get one free eye glass special in March of 2017. I paid 650.00 for two pair of glasses. After 6 Months with the first pair, I started to notice a film of lines develop on the lens which severely effect my vision. I than pulled out my second set, and started to wear those in hopes of returning the first pair. I was told since I did not purchase insurance on my glasses, there was nothing they could do. Eight months after wearing my second pair I started noticing a few lines develop on the left lens. Now, 5 days later the entire lens is covered with these lines, and my vision is severely effected. I called JCPenney's to let them know about the same issue with the second pair, in hopes they would recognize that there is a flaw with their product. However, all I was told is they could not help. Please do not purchase glasses from JCPenneys! In addition to selling a low quality product for a high price they provide abysmal customer service.

I'd choose ZERO Stars if I could!!! DO NOT GO TO JCP OPTICAL in Pueblo, Co. (Pueblo Mall) for ANY REASON!!!!! HORRIBLE Customer service from the Manager, "Roberta"!!! She was FAKE Nice until AFTER she took my money, then After screwing up my order, she gave me a million excuses, then threw me under the bus by LYING her head off to the Doctor about the entire situation... Then, the Doctor gave me bad attitude as well, and also blamed ME for all of JCP Optical's mistakes. I attempted to go in and speak CIVILY to Roberta, to rectify the problem, and she made a scene in FRONT of the room full of customers, even put her hand up in my face, calling me down out LOUD, for all of the Mall customers in the hallway to hear. I left in tears! After paying almost 200.00, Roberta and the Doctor expected me to just walk away with NOTHING. TOTAL RIPOFF! I couldn't be MORE disappointed. HUGE Waste of time and money.
