Hello all! As a former long-term employee of JoAnn's I wanted to point out a couple of things mentioned in these reviews. First being the store budget, which demands as few employees on duty as possible. Often there's only one person at the cutting table and one at the check-out. That makes curb service very difficult, as there must always be two in the store, so how do they send one outside? It also explains why it's hard to find assistance. So much to do, so little time, too few to do the work. And thus the store gets messy. The fabric dept was frustrating for me, as I had too little time to keep it neat. And many customers made a big mess of it! (see my before and after photos!) Staff problems can be traced back to that pesky budget. Minimum wage tends to attract unskilled, inexperienced people, often their first job and they themselves are a work in progress. Management insists on pleasant treatment of guests, but sadly that doesn't always happen and sometimes it's not deserved. I was very fond of most of the staff when I worked there, we all did the best we could. Another point is about online ordering and pick-up, the communication process is a bit slow. I used it once and they hadn't yet received my order when I showed up! And the computer was inaccurate about the stock, but the staff got it together for me. This is an extra chore for the employees, think of it, they're doing your shopping for you, but they're not allowed to bring on extra staff to fill orders. A nice convenience for those who have difficulties. I was delighted when the store came to town, Pueblo needed a fabric shop! I'm headed there this afternoon to get a can of spray adhesive for foam (not available anywhere else) and to look over their upholstery selection. I'll give the store 4 stars, short of five because of company stinginess, Times are tough folks, we're all struggling, please be patient with each other. To get a smile, GIVE a smile! :)

Anytime I need crafting supplies for my projects, this place is always my go to place. I was there earlier this week, showed up 20mins prior to closing since I got off late from the work. I had my 14 yr old and 12 yr old boys with me. I wanted hurry up get in and out, so I had the kids go get the cricut stuff I needed. The next thing I know the there is a lady calling for security and telling my kids to follow her to the front of the store. So disappointed in this store, my kids are not bad and nor do they look the part. When I grabbed my kids while they were following her, she couldn't even say anything to me.
