You can walk this wall with your museum ticket. You can also walk the east "tierra" gate for 15 pesos fee. Both are great but the one facing the city is longer and connects you with more fortresses.

It's one of the entrances to the colourful city of Campeche. It used to be the entrance where the boats brought in the goods. If you walk straight from there to the city you will find the street without traffic and the bars and restaurants have their tables on the street. It is beautiful to sit there and eat or have a coffee.
